Founded in Chorley in 2008 with a 2018 move to Leyland, Lancashire, The IT Dept is a Computer Consultancy and ICT Solutions Provider headed up by Matthew Schofield. Matthew has worked in IT since the mid 2000’s, starting off in Education and expanding into Business support by 2009. The company has grown to have a team of techies who complement each other and form a strong alliance, whether it’s fixing a printer or project management for network design and implementation for a new site – you’re covered.
The IT Dept was set up as a locally focused company, and as part of that we use the services of other Lancashire businesses wherever possible, often met through the SHOUT Network Business Group. We have supported charities and local suppliers for branding, uniforms and marketing.
